The tee fitting is T-shaped and has three openings, allowing for the connection and branching of three tubes. Two openings are on the main run, while the third branch is at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. Dimensions for tees are represented as A x B x C, with "A" and "B" indicating the main run on the fitting and "C" indicating the branch.

Constructed of gray PVC (polyvinyl chloride), the fitting is resistant to chemicals and corrosion, while also offering high strength and less weight than metal fittings. It is compatible with SIDR-PR flexible polyethylene tubing in accordance with ASTM International standards D2239 and D2104 schedule 40 polyethylene tubing.
