The Spears 1435 series tube fitting is constructed of gray polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic and is designed to connect schedule 40 polyethylene (PE) pipe to threaded pipe that conforms to the National Pipe Thread (NPT) standard. This adapter features a barbed fitting on one end to create a secure seal on flexible PE pipe when used with a separate hose clamp, and a female NPT connector on the opposite end for connecting to threaded pipe.
