This snap-on saddle pipe fitting from Spears is designed to create a branch connection on a pipe. It is made of schedule 40 PVC and features an IPS saddle fitting and a socket branch connection. This one-piece fitting simply pushes onto the pipe and is secured with adhesive (adhesive not included) to create a branch connection with one outlet.

The Iron Pipe Size (IPS) saddle snaps on over a hole drilled into the pipe to create the new outlet. The branch outlet has a female socket connection for sliding over the end of a male pipe or fitting, providing a smooth bore for enhanced flow. Made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), this schedule 40 fitting offers corrosion resistance, high strength, and weighs less than metal fittings. It is compatible with schedule 40 PVC pipes and fittings and can also be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings.
