P401 Series PVC DWV Reducing Sanitary Tee, 3 x 3 x 2 Hub

The Spears P401 series DWV reducing sanitary tee is a T-shaped fitting made of PVC, designed for waste water systems in residential applications. It has hub connections on both ends and is used to connect and branch three pipes—two on the main run and one branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. The internal construction of the branch ensures the flow is directed at a gradual angle to prevent clogging.

The branch connection has a smaller diameter than the main run, and the dimensions of the tee are represented as A x B x C, with “A” and “B” indicating the main run, and “C” indicating the branch. The hub connections are designed to slide over the ends of a male unthreaded pipe with a smooth bore for enhanced flow.

Made of PVC, this fitting is suitable for non-pressure residential drain, waste, vent (DWV) sanitary systems. PVC offers resistance to corrosion and chemicals, exhibits high strength, and weighs less than fittings made from metal. Additionally, PVC can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings.
